Ham & Mixed Bean Soup

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces mixed dried beans
  • 1 ham steak, cubed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground white pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 bay leaves

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large pot or dutch oven and cook on low heat until the beans are tender, about 2½ hours.
