Ginger Cookies

Ingredients

  • Cinnamon: 4 Teaspoons
  • Baking soda: 8 Teaspoons
  • Flour: 8 Cups
  • Eggs: 4 Each
  • Molasses: 1 Cups
  • Granulated sugar: 4 Cups
  • Shortening: 3 Cups
  • Cloves: 2 Teaspoons
  • Ginger: 2 Teaspoons
  • Salt: 2 Teaspoons

Melt shortening. Add sugar and beat.
Add molasses and beat.
Add eggs and beat.
Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and salt. Roll into small balls, and roll balls in sugar.
Flatten balls (optional). Bake at 375 F for 8-10 minutes.
